Ma chiamiamolo pure Must Have! Ormai le righe rappresentano il trend passpartout per qualsiasi stagione, dall' autunno all' inverno, dalla primavera all'estate! Insomma, una vera Fashion Victim per eccellenza non può non possedere almeno un capo a righe...
Orizzontali, verticali, oblique, micro, macro, colorate, bianche, nere; migliaia le sue tipologie e migliaia il modo di ispirare la moda! Perchè le Stripes non sono un trend passeggero, uno di quei trends nati all'improvviso, le righe come tutte le Tendenze ha una storia e soprattutto una sua origine.
La loro comparsa nel mondo della moda avviene già a metà del lontano Ottocento quando,in onore della celebrazione della potenza marinara inglese, la regina Vittoria d'Inghilterra adottò la classica divisa da ufficiale a righe bianche e blu per vestire i suoi pargoletti. A rendere femminili le righe mariniere è servito il tocco della vivace Coco Chanel, nei ruggenti anni 20, per poi diventare un vero e proprio segno distintivo negli anni 90 grazie a Jean Paul Gautier.
Le righe come segno di rappresentanza del proprio essere è questo il loro significato nel XX secolo ed è questo a renderle così importanti ed efficaci nell'universo della moda femminile e maschile.
