Dolcetto, scherzetto o... sogno nel cassetto?

Schiavi o meno dei Mass Media, dei Social Network&Co, ormai siamo abituati ad associare ad Halloween una mostruosa immagine. 

Ma vi siete mai chiesti perché? 

Facendo un passo indietro, lungo circa 20/30 anni, a dar inizio a tutto questo mito è stato quel gran pezzo di genio di Tim Burton. Il suo Frankweenie è stato in primis il film d'animazione a trattarne il tema; da lì, a ruota, un susseguirsi di titoli. Da Nightmare Before Christmas a Sleepy Hollow, da Edward Mani di forbice a The Adams Family, dalla Sposa Cadavere a Hocus Pocus, da the Wizard of Oz a Venerdì 13... 

Halloween ( "Holy Eve" ) delinea un rito, più che una festa, di origine celtica, antecedente alla festa degli Ognissanti, in cui le anime dei morti torna a far visita le proprie case e le proprie famiglie e per la cui occasione, la gente andava in giro casa per casa a chiedere piccoli doni come dolciumi per onorare i morti. 

Quale occasione migliore, dunque, per chiedere no. Il dolcetto, non lo scherzetto ma semplicemente che "il sogno realtà diverrà".

Slaves or not the Media, Social Networks & Co., now we have come to associate Halloween day with a monstrous image.

Halloween ("Holy Eve") outlines a ritual rather than a celebration of Celtic origin, before the feast of All Saints, in which the souls of the dead return to visit their homes and their families and for that occasion, the People went around from house to house to ask for small gifts like candy to honor the dead.

What better time, then, to ask not. The trick, not treat it simply as "the dream will become reality."
