I Wish You A MerryMerry Christmas !

25 Dicembre. 

Auguri di Buon Natale a tutti. Che una nuova "speciale e magica" giornata abbia inizio. Com'è stato il vostro buongiorno? Siete già svegli o ancora tra le vostre calde coperte? Io, che il sonno non lo temo, sono già sveglia da qualche ora e dopo una colazione, al sapor di briciole di panettone&uvetta per la dieta, ora mi godo un po' di relax… … …sì, certo relax, si fa per dire… Non conoscete mia madre, Donna-Ansia per eccellenza; sveglia da 3 ore circa, tra un "è tardi/ togliti/ non aprire la finestra/ bisogna lavare/ bisogna apparecchiare/ bisogna cucinare/ è tardi/ exc" si diletta alle pulizie del giorno dopo e ai preparativi del pranzo. Ma è Natale e a Natale si sa, siamo tutti più buoni, quindi, la parola del giorno sarà: assecondiamola! 

Durante queste festività mi accorgo, sempre più stranita, quante siano e quanto diverse, a volte opposte, siano le tradizioni tra una Regione all'altra in un unico Paese come l'Italia. In Puglia, nella mia Bari osiamo definirle le feste "terribili" e includono sia il giorno della Vigilia e sia il giorno di Natale, facoltativo il giorno di Santo Stefano. Il Barese Doc vive il mese di Dicembre in funzione del Natale. (Diffidate da coloro che dicono di odiarlo..in realtà sono coloro che pur di rendersi interessanti, superToppissimi&Fighissimi, si vogliono calare nei panni del Io sono Bello&Duro. Peccato non sappiano che di duro non hanno nient'altro che la loro testa che, ancora si ostina a non capire che il cattivo non fa più Figo… ma bastaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! Noi vogliamo le Coccole, la Tenerezza!!)

A noi Baresi piace respirare l'aria natalizia; vederla a casa e dintorni; viverla a tutto tondo a 360 gradi; a noi piace far tardi la sera per giocare a carte con la propria famiglia e/o amici; riunirsi tutti assieme e assaporare i sapori tipici della nostra Tradizione, che ne fanno una delle cucine migliori di tutto il mondo… e non sono di parte! 

"Il giorno della Vigilia, poiché si è soliti mangiare verso tardi la sera e per il pasto alquanto pesante, può succedere che qualcuno venga colpito da malesseri viscerali con fastidiose conseguenze. Ma, sciocchezze! L'importante è rispettare le tradizioni! " Amen.

Cosa mi metto? Bene, tante le idee e le possibilità per queste giornate peccato adesso l'unica cosa che riesco a scrivere, e che mia madre mi sta continuando ad urlare contro è che "veramente, ma veramente Tardi!!!!!!!!!!"

Merry Christmas to all. A new "special and magical" day is starting. How was your good morning? Are you already awake or are you still in your warm blankets? I'm already awake for a few hours and, after a breakfast with cake crumbs & raisins diet, now I enjoy some relax time… … …yes, of course relax is only a way to say… because, you don't know my mother, Anxiety is her second name; alarm for 3 hours, including "it's late/ take off/ not open the window/ must wash/ must cook/ it's too late/ exc"  she dabbles cleaning of next day and the preparations for the lunch. But it's Christmas and at Christmas we are all better then, the word of the day will be: indulge! During these holidays, I realize, more and more bewildered, how many they are and how different, sometimes opposing, traditions are between one region to another in a single country like Italy. In Apulia, or better into Bari we use to call them "terrible holidays" and include both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We breathe the Christmas air; we love living this period in total round; we like being late in the evening to play cards with family or friends, gather all together and enjoy the flavors of our tradition (making it one of the best kitchens around the world …)!

"The day of Christmas Eve, because it is customary to eat late in the evening and the meal rather heavy, it can happen that someone is suffering from visceral discomfort with unpleasant consequences. But, nonsense! The important thing is to respect the traditions! " Amen.

What will be the best outfits for Christmas holidays? Well, there are so many ideas and possibilities but, now, the only thing that I can write are my mother's words "It's really,really Late!!"

the Destiny' s Sweethearts

Sarà che ieri era mercoledì (la classica serata da cinema); sarà che, fino a ieri,

non c'erano film allettanti nelle sale cinematografiche; sarà che arriva questo periodo

e ho tanta voglia di tenerezza, coccole e quant'altro (il perché non si sa).

Certo è che ieri, mercoledì 18 dicembre, era quella che io definisco la perfetta

serata piramidale: piumone+film+biscotti = la triade della felicità.

Avevo un gran bisogno di un po' di terapia cinematografica.

Per quel giorno ne avevo davvero abbastanza della vita reale.

Sleepless in Seattle, o Insonnia d'Amore -

regia di Nora Ephron, 1993, con Meg Ryan e Tom Hanks. 

Sicuramente meno famoso di Harry ti presento Sally, cult insuperabile di Nora, Insonnia d'Amore è una piccola favola rosa dai toni dolci ma non stucchevoli, una di quelle storie d'amore in perfetto stile anni 90, dall'animo natalizio, che creano tepore e suscitano simpatia; una di quelle amabili commedie da vedere in pigiama, sola o in compagnia, come se fosse una puntata di Sex and the City (senza il sesso, però!). Necessario e salutare per tutte quelle donne che, in tempi di crisi come questo, hanno bisogno di un po' di sana frivolezza e, perché no, anche di quegli happy endings al sapor di lacrime. Annie è una persona seria e ragionevole, una giovane giornalista, fidanzata con l'assennato Walter. Sam è un uomo afflitto, rimasto solo, vedovo e con un figlio da allevare. L'innamoramento avviene quasi casualmente, quando la donna ascolta una trasmissione radiofonica a cui partecipa l'uomo che parla della sua difficile situazione di vedovo. Ispirata sia dalle storie di Sam che dalle classiche romanticherie di Hollywood, la scrittrice si convince che il suo destino è di incontrare Sam. Ci sono due problemi, però: Annie è fidanzata con un altro e vive a Baltimora, Sam vive a Seattle e ancora non sa che loro due sono fatti l'uno per l'altra.

Insonnia d'Amore è ispirato al classico film romantico del 1957, Un amore splendido.

La scena finale, in cima all'Empire State Building (nella quale Annie Reed, interpretata da Meg Ryan, e Sam Baldwin, interpretato da Tom Hanks si incontrano per la prima volta), è un evidente riferimento alla scena di Un amore splendido in cui Cary Grant e Deborah Kerr non riescono ad incontrarsi, proprio in quello stesso posto.

Tre fatti che non tutti sanno…

1. La scena in cui Sam e suo cognato parlano del film Quella sporca dozzina e fingono di piangere è frutto dell'improvvisazione dei due attori.

2. Meg Ryan non è stata la prima scelta per il ruolo di Annie.

Kim Basinger, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jennifer Jason Leigh e Jodie Foster rifiutarono la parte, che in realtà in prima battuta era stata offerta a Julia Roberts.

3. In tutto il film, Meg Ryan e Tom Hanks condivisero solo una scena di 2 minuti.

Quanta chimica tra loro in due minuti soltanto! La stessa che ritroviamo nel 1998 con You've Got Mail, o C'è posta per Te..ma questo è un altro film e un'altra storia…

Avete già pensato alla vostra Lista dei Desideri Natalizi? Troppo presto?!

Considerando che siamo solo al 10 Dicembre, il freddo e l'atmosfera direi proprio di no!

Pensare al Natale credo sia il miglior rimedio a tutti i mali dicembrini :P

Se tanto entusiasmante è ricevere regali un po' meno è donarli o meglio: cervellarsi sul cosa regalare. Siamo sinceri, suvvia, ma a chi piace veramente questa tortura psicologica?? Sì, ok è sicuramente carino organizzarsi, riunirsi, andare a fare shopping per le vie luccicanti della propria città, da sola o in compagnia, essere sommersa da pacchi e/o pacchetti di ogni genere e misura ma al primo… e al secondo… e al terzo giorno, siete ancora così entusiasti come la prima volta?!

(Attenzione da non confondere con avarizia e/o egoismo) Io sono la classica Maniaca del Dettaglio; nonostante la classica pigrizia psichica che mi assale inizialmente, quando Io decido di dover fare qualcosa faccio di tutto per renderla perfetta. Di conseguenza, se ho da far regali questi devono essere ad hoc; curati fino all'impossibile; talmente perfetti da riuscire ad odiarli. Sono matta, lo so ma che posso fare se non diminuire il rischio di esaurimento prenatalizio anticipando la pazza corsa ai regali nei mesi antecedenti?! Un'ottima soluzione per chi, come me odia ridursi all'ultimo momento e il rischio di poter finire a scazzottate, il 24 dicembre mattina, per accaparrarsi l'ultimo introvabile brandello dell' ultimo scorcio di regalo!

L' Art de Bien Vivre .

1 Dicembre. Un unico e assennato pensiero offusca la mia mente : da dove è uscito tutto questo freddo?! Da oggi al domani si è passati dai 18 ai 6 gradi c.ca al sole senza un perché e per fortuna, almeno oggi, la pioggia ci ha risparmiati…Il freddo e il gelo è riuscito addirittura a essere il protagonista del mio ultimo post, della serie "Niente nasce per caso". "Anastasia Of Winter" è un fantastico photoshoot edito da Vogue Nippon December che racconta, in chiave decisamente più Fashion, la storia di una delle principesse più belle e affascinante di tutte le epoche (uno dei miei cartoons/film preferiti). La Principessa russa si aggira negli scatti, avvolta da cappotti damascati, tra moschee e paesaggi innevati con così tanta nonchalance da fare invidia a chi come me, invece ai primi gradi sotto i 10 inizia a diventare paonazza livida come non mai..:)

Le intemperie varie non hanno fermato la famiglia Trentadue. Armati di cappotti, cappelli e sciarpe io, mamma e papà abbiamo deciso di regalarci una giornata diversa e dirigerci verso Conversano.

Conversano è un paesino di provincia, non molto distante da Bari, molto carino e accogliente che vanta una delle piazze più suggestive della provincia. Piazza Castello situata all'ingresso della città vecchia, è stato lo scenario di gran parte delle foto del post di oggi. Tra viottoli e strutture tipiche in pietra bianca, un angolo di Puro Piacere è situato in questa Piazza; comprensibile sarebbe definirlo Paradiso, reale sarebbe chiamarlo Paschà. Palazzo d'epoca affacciato sulla piazza antistante al castello normanno di Conversano, con vista sul mare, il Pashà regala una sosta di vero piacere. Ambienti raffinati ed eleganti, dall'atmosfera accogliente. La cucina regala emozioni. Piatti prelibati preparati con selezionate materie prime del territorio, sapori netti e cotture sapienti. Una nouvelle cousine contemporanea che non dimentica le tradizioni di casa e della cucina tipica pugliese. La carta dei vini rivela competenza e passione enologica, con un'interessante offerta di etichette regionali, nazionali ed internazionali.

Una garanzia per i buoni intenditori. E ad un ottimo pranzo non può che far seguito un'ottima passeggiatina tra le vie della fitta vecchia, dove è appaiono già le prime lucine…quanto amo l'atmosfera Natalizia?!

E per sentirmi anch'io un po' Principessa non poteva mancare come must del giorno la mia nuova pelliccia made in London…un po' tradizionalista un po' aggressiva, fate attenzione perché oggi rrrrrringhio!

Conversano is a small place not so far from Bari, very cute with one of the most fascinating squares in the province. Piazza Castello is situated at the entry of the old town, was the scene of most of the photos of today's post.
