One of the most famous and popular parks in the city, the daily destination for the citizens. In addition to the inevitable benches, green space and lay out on the slopes on which to run, there is a beautiful fountain in the nineteenth century. The waterfall, which adorns the park was begun and completed thanks to the intervention of A. Gaudi. His touch is recognized in the large amount of allegorical figures, which come from the beautiful fountains and that almost seem to recall the typical structures of a princely fountain.
Among the most beautiful and fascinating of Barcelona, was to be a garden city, but also this invention Gaudi never came to an end. Despite this, the parties have made an additional document oestrus architect. They were to serve as a porter, the two pavilions, covered with ceramic fragments, which constitute the current entrance to the park and crossed the staircase which is famous for the dragon, which also serves as a fountain. The 84 pillars on which stands the Doric greek highlight the structure. Only two of the 60 planned villas were built: one built in 1911, is the home-Museu Gaudí, where the architect lived and which preserves the original drawings, plans and furniture he designed for homes and Mila Batllo.
Built by Gaudi in 1906/07, reinterpreting an existing building, is one of the most ingenious construction of the architect. Despite the abundance of decorative elements and forms, Casa Batlló communicates a feeling of lightness. From the undulating façade protrudes the gallery on the first floor, supported by columns and with beautiful stained glass windows; the profusion of color on the upper floors, obtained by the use of broken ceramics and glass, it goes to the famous iron balconies shaped mask; the roof is made of ceramic tiles that make up a sort of fantastic dragon and the circular tower culminating in a cross with four arms.
